Disaster Recovery

Considering the recent mess we faced when returning to the institute after a two year hiatus, the few remaining monkeys and I sat down to discuss disaster planning. Bongo made it clear that anything less than a full bowl of banana gruel was a disaster. When I tried to explain that I was […]

100 Monkeys Stumbles

Suddenly and without much warning, hundreds of visitors have stumbled here from http://www.stumbleupon.com/.  We’d love to know what all the hubbub is about.  Were we listed on the buzz page?  What’s the scoop?  Bongo and the rest of the monkeys have been scrambling to keep the systems up against all this extra traffic (actually, we’re […]

It appears that this video is mocking our own Dr. Safran. Our lawyers have been activated and should be filing suit soon.

Dancing Tree Monkeys Suspected

We don’t usually post info about ‘Dr.’ Safran’s private life but this photo was worth it. The day before a planned open house at the Safran’s current home, the largest branch this tree had to offer decided it would rather be on top of the family minivan. If you watch, he points out that it would take 1,000,000 monkeys. According to our math, once you introduce the concept of infinity, you can do it with 100 or fewer monkeys.

More Monkeys Found

Good detective work turned up a few more of our monkeys today! However, after talking it over we have decided to let them stay with their new employer. It seems that Tippy, Almond and Scratch found their way over to Helping Hands. It just didn’t feel right asking a quadriplegic to give […]

Monkey Chow Diet Diaries

The mystery as to where all of our monkey chow went while we were on vacation has been resolved.  It appears that a Canadian  (he says, “aboot”) by the name of Adam Scott (no relation to Dr. Safran other than they share a fabulous first name) broke into our office and took some of our […]

Recently, Simon recorded the following message. Enjoy.

We Found Some of Our Monkeys!

Well, we’ve been able to find some of our lost monkeys. Some have gone as far as Japan. Actually, two in Japan. Considering the cost of airfare, that explains the remnants of what appears to be a giant yard sale in front of the building.
Coco and Tucker were located as well. […]
