Gorillas on the March (or Run)

Thousands of gorillas took the streets of London to support the the Gorilla Organization.  Our monkeys, of course, watched and cheered during the entire race and barely tossed any poo at the T.V.
Check out their sweet gorilla video.

Chalk it up to anxiety or perhaps a complete nervous breakdown but last night I had a strange and vivid dream.  With the house in escrow and plans to move the monkey operations north, things have been a tad stressful.  We still don’t know where one of the chartered busses is and only a few […]

My Cubicle - Life at the SIMI Project

We feel this video captures life pretty accurately at our headquarters.  Especially the nude part.

100 Monkeys Stumbles

It appears that this video is mocking our own Dr. Safran. Our lawyers have been activated and should be filing suit soon.

With music provided by SIMI Project friend Rob Costlow, I put together this little video for my daughter Rose in time for her 8th birthday.  Photos by me — ‘Dr.’ Safran.  Enjoy!

Dancing Tree Monkeys Suspected

We don’t usually post info about ‘Dr.’ Safran’s private life but this photo was worth it. The day before a planned open house at the Safran’s current home, the largest branch this tree had to offer decided it would rather be on top of the family minivan. Dancing tree monkeys are strongly suspected.

We’re pleased to announce that SIMI Project friend and official monkey sculptor Dave Silva is involved in a show tomorrow (Saturday night) called “TIKIS and TERRORS” at the infamous Bahooka Bar.
The piece above (the one he’s showing) is called “FrankenChimp.” According to Dave it is a “customized version of the Infamous Ceramic Surfing Monkeys […]

One of the greatest challenges we have at the SIMI Project is automating the analysis of our monkeys’ output. Thanks to the Retro-Encabulator this is no longer an issue! Thank you, Rockwell Automation!
