Stepping Down

Bi-quarterly dispatch

There comes a time in every man’s life when he learns that there comes a time in every man’s life where there comes a time. For Dr. Adam Safran, that time is now.

After more than three years at the helm of the SIMI Project, Dr. Safran has decided to step down to a lower step. This isn’t a metaphor. For three years Dr. Safran has attempted to increase his stature at the SIMI Project by having assistants roll him around on a wheeled step ladder.

With the recent installation of electric exit signs above all of the doors, this has become impractical. Having grown tired of constantly stepping down then back up after each entrance and exit, Dr. Safran sent out the following memo:

    Memo
From the Desk of Dr. Safran
To the staff of the SIMI ProjectIf my mother
calls please tell her that I will have her money
soon and that it was not spent on pants for the monkeys. From this day forward I shall be transported around
the SIMI Project facilities on the SECOND step of
    my multi-level transportation device – Gingerly.Type on!

In addition to stepping down, Dr. Safran has once again requested that we collect names of BETA testers for the next SIMI Project feature: When Monkeys Attack. Please submit your request to betatest@100monkeys.org.

Also, please don’t forget to support the SIMI Project with CASH by buying monkey goods. Many of the monkeys still do not have any pants.

Sincerely,

Frank Bonobo
Lead Research Assistant
The SIMI Project
